Third Grade Trailblazers Shabbat

Presented in collaboration with the unBIASed Committee

One of the most meaningful moments in the third-grade year is the Trailblazers Unit, where students explore the stories of individuals who have made positive and lasting change through courage, empathy, and perseverance. Through this learning, students begin to see that trailblazers come from many backgrounds and that meaningful change often starts with standing up for others. Third Grade Trailblazer Shabbat marks an important milestone as students connect their classroom learning to the traditions and values of Shabbat. This special evening brings together education, community, and reflection, helping students deepen their understanding of Shabbat and their role within the Jewish community.

This program is presented in collaboration with the unBIASed Committee, which works to address antisemitism and all forms of hate through education, youth engagement, and community programming.
